People decided how they felt about him before he was even voted in. They talk bad about him because they are angry that he is in office when they didn't want him in. So they blame him for everything and make up stories to try and hurt his reputation. Also Bush is openly a Christian which also causes strikes on him

I voted for Bush and am happy with what he has done in office.

It's been 5 years since a terrorist attack in the US which is true. But the conclusion that this is a great feat is based on the assumption that there have been thousands of Islamic radicals plotting terrorist strikes in the US from 2001 through the present. Most experts believe that the number of terrorists has grown recently, in response to US foreign policy directed by you- know- who. So the real test of US security is yet to come, I'm afraid.

If you don't accept the proposition that the threat of terrorism has grown during Bush's rule consider this. Clinton kept the US free of terrorist strikes between 1993 and the time he left office. That's nearly 8 years.

While he, his administration and intelligence agencies do deserve credit, you cannot gauge any President's overall performance on one thing alone. Bush's war in Iraq was unfounded, cost thousands of lives, and turned Iraq into a hellhole (which could foster future terrorism.) Also, his signing the Patriot Act into law one month after 9-11-2001 has resulted in reduced civil liberties of ordinary Americans. I don't like to "talk crap" about anybody, but I will criticize if said criticism is warranted (IMO).

How is he keeping us safe ? If you say that he attract Iraq to keep us safe , that's false, because there is not any proof of any connection between Saddam and Al Qaeda . The report that just came out said so .
Now if you think that Homeland Security is protecting us , then you had better look up just what kind of a job they are doing . I don't feel any safer . They haven't closed the borders yet , is that keeping us safe ? And if you say that we haven't been attacked again , well it's not because , we are protected any better , it's because the terrorist haven't got a plan yet .

He himself has done nothing. The system has kept america safe. Don't credit this leader, as the steps forward have happened in spite of him rather than because of him.

All this president is concerned about is making people afraid so that they turn to him.

The comments about Australia are loopy. They genuinely were initially a Gun Nut united states and protested even as their authorities had to take them away. besides the undeniable fact that, they have not had a mass capturing in view that 1992 for this reason and the Australians (even those who protested) will now allow you to know they experience a lot safer. as well, no longer all guns were taken away; people nevertheless have searching rifles and if a foul guy or boogie guy broke into your homestead, you may want to nevertheless be in a position to do a multitude of harm with a searching rifle. My aspect - can we truly want each American to have get admission to to gadget guns and sniper rifles? can't we limit particular gun get admission to and surely make hand guns and searching rifles attainable? basically declaring.

I think he's doing a great job but needs to close our Southern border. That is the one soft point - our underbelly. People talk crap because they are easily misled. President Bush shared his intel with all the Dems, they had the same conclusions as he did. I think they're just pissed off that this "Cowboy", as they love to call him, beat them not once, but twice! And it wasn't "stolen" either, and they know that too! They need to stop the hatin'! Have a nice day!

he is incompetent. He has mislead America in a pointless useless war that eats young men and will leave the USA in a strategically worse position that it was before.
The performance of Bush wit Katrina, would bring shame to a third world country.
Can you honestly say another president could not have done as well or better?
Total lack of leadership, total lack of vision, has cost the USA in prestige, money and blood

people on here are 12 years old. All information they get is either from retarded MTV or their liberal teachers, who would rather have their students brainwashed then actually teach them the truth.

Terrorist activity was not born on 9/11, rather its been going on for decades, even in America (embassy hijacking, Iranian hostage crisis, etc) but people here seem to think Bush started it all.

Probably because, again, they are 12 years old and werent alive when previous terrorism occurred.
