I got my ear (lobes) pierced last week and i am already out of the cleaner stuff that they give you. Because i used it alot, and very carelessly. But now i am out of it, and i still have 5 more weeks i gotta clean them for. Can i use rubbing alcohol to clean them? Just wondering. :)

You could use rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide.

Do not use rubbing alcohol! Just dab some hydrogen peroxide onto a cotton ball, and use that.

Claire's cleaner stuff is a watered down version of that anyways.

Peroxide will cost you less than 50 cents at any drug store.

Use the peroxide only once at night, the more you use it, the harder it will be to heal.

Absolutely don't use alcohol or peroxide. Use a soap recommended by a shop that does piercing. Another great way to clean is by soaking the piercing in warm water and sea salt for about 5 minutes.

No! Do not use rubbing alcohol. You can always get more of the saline solution they give you from Claires or The Icing. It is very cheap. You can also use a saline solution that they sell on Amazon.com called H2o which they recommended me at the place I got my nose pierced which is very good, but a little pricy. Or, you can simply use antibacterial soap and rinse with water 2-3 times a day!
