Looking out for democracy and trying to force it at the point of a gun are two different things. In fact, one could argue, trying to force it at the point of a gun is *harmful* to the cause of democracy, which I am all for.

Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with 9-11. They had no WMD which was the excuse given for the war. The bombers were mostly Saudis trained by Al Quaida that has its headquarters in Afghanistan. Bin Laden who plotted the whole thing is alive and well and still plotting more attacks.
