I could use some song/album suggestions. Some good Not on the Radio rap/hip hop.

I tend to go for the stuff that sounds jazz-influenced, like The Roots, Tribe Called Quest, etc.

Thanks!

Common - The Light, Go
Talib Kweli - Get By
Mos Def - Ms. Fat Booty, UMI says (2 songs)
Jurassic Five - Quality Control (really close to the roots and tribe called quest)
Dilated Peoples - Worst Come to Worst
The Streets - Push Things Forward
Slum Village - Tainted
Atmosphere - Guns and Cigarettes (also a good one)
Blue Scholars - The Ave (really good seattle based hip hop)
handsome boy modeling school - the projects (they are really varied with who they choose to work with...theyve colloborated with jack johnson, and then cat power...truly cool stuff)
