Ok I guess I will go with the simple fact that to the best of my knowledge based on everything I've read or heard over the years there is no reason to believe it would be any more dangerous to get an abortion at 4 1/2 months than it would be to carry to term.The question is that if you were halfway there why would you abort? No preaching here just a simple statement,I have always believed that if the decision to abort was not able to be made in the first trimester(3 months) it shouldn't be made at all. There are plenty of people who can and will take a baby for adoption,there are many crisis pregnancy centers that will take care of all the expenses that come with a pregnancy and arrange for adoption,so why not bring a hell of alot of joy into someones life instead of aborting a baby,an act which contrary to what some say stays with the mother for the rest of her life.

Abortions are not safe and are not legal when you have reached 4 months and over. When you have an abortion you risk a lot of things like having massive bleeding, infections, inability to have another child and in some cases death. So think twice before having an abortion. There are many people out there who are not able to have babies and would do anything to have a baby of their own. If you don't want the baby, you can give it up for adoption. Why end the life of an innocent baby? God obviously has a purpose for that child. Why not give it a life and the chance to find out why God created the child?!?

At 4 months:
Your baby's hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, fingernails and toenails are forming. She has vocal cords and taste buds and can now suck her thumb!

• Ears, arms, hands, fingers, legs, feet, and toes are completely formed.

• The heart is beating about 120 to 160 beats a minute.
Well, saying all that..If you've already gone 4 1/2 months, you are half way there! Instead of aborting the fetus (I'm not even sure if it's legal to do when the fetus is that old) why not research adoption? That is if your asking the question for yourself.

well im sorry to hear that u don't want this baby....if u wanted to abort him/her u should have done it when u first found out u were pregnant. The baby right now is formed, and it's a tragedy and me personally it's disgusting that someone would try to kill a baby at 4 1/2 months pregnant. have this baby if u don't want it u can always give up for adoption. there are alot of couples out there who can't have children.

I wouldnt have an abortion PERIOD! do you know what they do to the innocent babys? when youre 4 1/2 months pregnant.....youre baby is almost basically full grown. Imagine how horrific it would be for you to be sleeping comfortably, when all of a sudden your arms and legs get torn off! And dont think they dont feel it cause they do! Just the thought of it is really messed up!

omg i hope that you arent 4 and a half months pregnant and considering an abortion. i dont think that any doc will do it anyway because you are too far along in the pregnancy. if you dont want the child then give it up for adoption. and for god sake, keep your legs closed from now on.

by the end of month 3 the baby is complete & only needs to bet bigger/stronger in order to love outside of the womb.
NO- it isn't okay to have an abortion this late... they would kill the baby & you will have to deliver it still born.
if you are unsure about being a parent at this point- take care of yourself & the baby, and give the baby up for adoption.

That is well within the second trimester and legal. Yes all abortions carry some risk, but so does everything. You need to get to a womens health clinic and talk with them, advice here can be difficult to decifer good from bad.

It's legal, and as long as you have thought this over VERY well, and your doctor feels it safe, you can do it - though some doctors wont perform one past the first trimester, but it's legal techincally through the second.
See link below. Once youve entered your third trimester (6-9 month) it becomes illegal.

No. It's not safe for your physical or emmotional welfare, and certainly not safe for the human being inside you. Consider adoption. There are thousands of couples who can't have a baby who would give anything to have the child you'd so callously flush down the toilet.
