I see a lot of hot smoking, good looking women moving and probably getting by easier, and some men too, but I have never seen one of the running a company.
There is some kind of treshold to how far they are treated with advantage though, usually the point where they dont need to sleep around with people, then they get cut off.
So, yes, in my opinion, yes.

From an HR standpoint, it happens more in smaller businesses where there aren't payscales in place (I have worked HR in small and large, so have seen the differences).. Payscales generally make that impossible and make it easy for a supervisor to adjust based on merit. Keep in mind that supervisors are people too, and everyone has their own idea of "beauty." But in general, if you are neat in your appearance and clean, looks have nothing to do with it.

You are asking a question that has been asked a long time ago and has been scientifically proven.
The more attractive you are, the better you are treated in all aspects of life.

That is true according to stats. Read the book 'Blink', it presents a lot of studies about first impressions and human behavior.

No, in fact many of the "beautiful people" are not willing to work as hard, and so they make less than plain looking, hard working poeple.

I only work part-time, but that has never been my experience thus far...it depends what kind of work ethic you have, and if you're willing to go the distance in your work.

Hiring for my road construction crew - no. For my Receptionist - yes, it would be a consideration, wages/salary notwithstanding.
