I have a gold neckaless with a cross and a small impression of jesus, the gold around the jesus seems dirty and i can clean it myself

if the cross doesn't fit, dabble a little of the cleaner on a clean cloth.

I found this method many years ago and it works very well. Get a glass and put the item in it and sprinkle a little baking soda on it and then pour some white vinegar in the glass, not too much because it foams, then shake the glass from side to side for about 30 seconds, then rinse with fresh water. WA LA, clean gold. :-)

If you could clean it yourself you would not be asking for help on how to clean it. Easy just take a tooth brush some tooth paste and brush the dirt off then soak in clean water dry with soft sox there you go all spiffy.

If it is real gold, you can just get jewelry cleaner and do it yourself. If it is costume, just toss.
