1. The Vice President. He only votes to break a tie.
2 The longest serving member of whatever party is in power is the Pro tempor
3. The Senate acts as the jury in an impeachment trial. (The Chief Justice of The Supreme Court is The judge.)
4.A majority of The House of Representatives impeaches, it takes a two thirds vote in The Senate to convict.
5 Presidents Johnson and Clinton were impeached but not found guilty by the Senate. Don't know about a third one ,sorry.
