How do you know when you find one?

Not quite sure since my wife of 12+ years left me while I was at work last Sunday. If you had asked that question 2 weeks ago, I would have said YES!!! My Lovely Wife.

Yes there is..Even though I have had bad luck in the friend department lately I know there are people out there who are true..Someone who will be there for you no matter what the situation is. Someone who will be honest,love and care about you! I just wish oneday I can find someone like that! Cause I am all of the above and more! Lets see how would you know if you found that person..Easy when you get that feeling that you cannot go without a day without talking to them and they are very considerate!

Definately. You'll know when you're in a big jam and he/she doesn't even think twice about doing anything they can to help you out of it, and doesn't expect anything in return. Someone who doesn't talk bad about you behind your back when you're not around. Someone who respects you for who you are and would not want anything about you to change.
You don't get many true friends in life, so hold on to them when you find them. The important thing to remember: It's not about the quantity of friends you have, but the quality of the friends you have. To have 1 or 2 true friends is better than having 100 'friends'.

THERE IS SUCH A THING AS A TRUE FRIEND, BUT THEY ARE VERY HARD TO FIND. A GOOD ONE TO FIND WOULD BE AT CHURCH. I KNOW B/C I HAVE A FEW AT CHURCH AND IF I NEEDED ANYTHING THEY WOULD COME THROUGH FOR ME.

Yes ther is really true friends out there and when you find one you will know because that person will always be there for you when ever you need them even if you don't know that you need that at that point they are always there for you know matter what happens......

There are true friends. A true friend will always be there for you, will listen to you, will give you good advices and will let you know when you are doing something wrong.

no, you can have friends but there is no such thing as a true friend or best friend.

when you belive them truely as you belive the God, they will just show up their faces..
Belive in your good friends...you will find the right one smiling at you! and you could understand when you cry they will be there to give a sholder to cry

of course there is. i class them differently. i don't call them true friends. they are good friends, hang-out friends, serious conversation friends. some, you think that they are true friends, then later on they became a_sses. some, are just "yes-men" that you can't get a real thoughts.
you just need to give them a chance and analyze who they really are. hope this make sense (it's confusing me) lol
