There are several free/free trial programs out there that can trace e-mails. Do a google search for "e-mail tracking freeware" or shareware. With the header information from the e-mail, you can get an ip address that the e-mail originated from. Some of them will even give you the name of the ip provider. With the ip address, you can do a "whois" lookup (there are several whois lookup sites online) to see who has registered that IP address.
When we had this happen at my last employer, it took about 15 minutes to track the e-mail to another college. We talked to their IT people, who helped us track down the individual computer (and user) who was sending the hate mail. Problem solved.

You'll want to look for an i.p address from wich that e-mail was sent. You can also ask your mail provider (i.e yahoo mail or msn hotmail) to block the computer of whoever has been sending mail to you from sending mail to any e-mails on their servers entirely as far as I know. Hope that helps some :)
