I have to write a paper for anthropology about unwritten rules. I'm supposed to choose an activity and write a paragraph about each of the unwritten rules that governs it. I'm having a lot of trouble coming up with ideas.

Grade School: wear clothes and shoes, raise hand to speak, ask to go to bathroom, call teacher by Mr. or Mrs., don't take things that don't belong to you, don't hit or kick anyone...

Dinner Party: chew with mouth closed, don't talk with full mouth, say please and thank you, don't pick your nose, use silverware instead of fingers....

Hope that helped...
