you put the numbers in order from least to greatest, then you cross off one from each side untill one is left, if there is two you have two mediums. hope this helps.

The median I think is like the number that is in the middle of the set of numbers you were given. For example, if you were given the numbers 1, 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 2:
first put them in order.
1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 3......you can see that we have an odd amount of numbers. So find which number is in the middle. In this case its the number 2.
With an even amount of numbers it a bit more trickier. Lets look at another set: 1, 2, 3, 3...In the middle here we have the numbers 2 and 3, So to find the median we take the average of these two numbers.
(2+3)/2 = 2.5 is the median.
Hope that helps. :)

Write all the numbers in order from smallest value to highest value. The one that falls exactly in the middle is the median. If you have an even amount of numbers then you not have a middle value. Take the two numbers in the middle and divide them by two.

the median in math is when you order the numbers from least to greatest like...
1,4,6,8,9,10,12,15,18
and cross them out rotating from front to back meaning first you cross out the front then the back then the next number in the front and the next number in the back and then circle the midle number like...
in this case the middle number is 9
1,4,6,8,|9,|10,12,15,18
