not at all.

Just don't give her everthing.

Only rewards for something she has completed successfully that was challenging.

OK, maybe u should just mind ur own business. However since I like to mind business too, I'll give u advice. Sure now ur niece may seem like an angel and ur sister may spoil her but in approximately 3 yrs u can say good-bye "Angel". She's going to be a handful and if ur sister continues to go down this path she won't know how to stop. Also if ur niece is accustomed to it she won't let it stop and ur sister will be up sh*t creek. So tell ur sister even though ur niece is perfect now she should still know a hard day's work and to stop giving her crap. It would only bound her to the material world and she should strive for much more than that.

No. Just because she doesn't know how to cook at 12 doesn't mean anything. I learned how to cook at 10, my sister didn't learn how to cook until she moved out on her own at 18. Different people learn different things at different times. If the daughter is a very good student with no bad marks or notes, she deserves to get things she wants because she's obviously a well behaved kid.

It sounds like she desreves to be treated like royalty. As she is doing well in school and getting good marks, she deserves a lot.
