We have this end of the 8th grade year dance just for the 8th graders cuz we are graduating. well i have no idea what to wear should i wear a prom dress or what give me sites to dresses u recommend. (my favorite color is blue and john deere green)

I think you should wear more of a "homecoming" dress which is not quite a "prom" dress but close to it.

ill be graduating 8th grade soon, but a lot of my friends were 8th graders last year. Id say definetly not a prom dress. probably a mid calf length to a mid thy length, if your on a budget id definatelly say jcpennys,or carsons have reall cute dresses for juniors dances that are sooo cheap, but if you have a lot of money id say winsor (www.winsor.com), i went in there once and they had the cuttest dresses ever, but they were expensive, id go for the cheaper and then you could get your hair done, new makeup, and some cute jewlery and shoes

You need to find out from other 8th graders what they are wearing because some of these dances tend to be a bit casual and you don't want to stick out like a sore thumb. Know any 9th graders who went last year?

I'd wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Probably as the year comes to a close, you'll figure out what you and your friends will probably wear. It's always fun to dress up..one last hoorah before high school.

i wouldn't do a prom dress. get a real nice dress from sears, dillards, macys or go to tj maxx or ross. they have some really fancy dresses in really nice colors. they also have all the accessories to go with it. save the prom dress for the real prom. don't rush growing up. it will come and you will enjoy it if you wait to do it at the right time. have fun!

Just wear a nice dress but not too dressy or maybe just a skirt and a nice shirt

wow its that fancy? most of the people at mine just wore skirts. a few wore more like homecoming dresses. prom dresses are way to formal for that kind of thing.

well at an eith grade dance defainetly wear a dress but not a to puffy one those look stupid. you should wear a blue dress with conterble shoes

ok wear a normal cassual dress casue is not a prom so yeah but if you want to lok cool recomend go to jcpenny they have dresses that you may like
