There is no viable theory of what caused the big bang, but only that the results was the universe in which we live. It has been theorized that it was caused by the collision of 'membranes' in a five dimensional space-time continuum or it materialized by the unfolding of cosmic 'strings'. As yet, no one really knows; it is all just theories.

My buddy, if I knew that, i'd be packing my suitcase for Stockholm, to acquire a Nobel Prize in Physics! ;-) we do not understand and the vast question is: change into there time earlier the vast bang? As we are conscious of it, both area and time "all started" with the vast bang. unusual, isn't it? How can something ensue if there change into no time? the subsequent question is: If the vast bang change right into a initiate and the accelerating boom of the universe will bring about an eternal "huge freeze" how can something eternal have a initiate? it will be like asking: the position does a circle initiate, precise? the answer is: we do not understand and that is what makes technology so exciting! ;-)
