I understand there are at least two channels devoted to black entertainment on SKY but with regards to the ususal 5 (ie BBC 1, 2, ITV1, C4, C5), you very rarely find a program showing before 8pm which contains a majority of black people. I am aware of my wife and kids BBC2 (12ish) which may be an exception, but why can't 18 films with black actors or documentaries be shown at 9 or 10.00pm instead of the usual 1 & 2am?

There is OBE and i'm not sure wether BEN is still there. These are channels dedicated to black movies and comedies. Personal i do not care about who does what with its Blacks, whites, Indians or mixed race people. The important thing is the quality of the programmes (Drama, movie or comedy). We should not illusion ourselves by saying we want so many people of such a race doing this or that affirmative action for the sake of it can lead to a lot of problems. Other programmes include half and half and some which show on trouble.

Produce more black actors and entertainers and it could be a possibility, cos you ain't got many, I love to see a good and complete cast in all entertainment but I agree with what I think you are saying give us more black talent, If it was all put on at the time you would, like I believe you would run out of good programmes, not that its much good now.

I am more concerned with the deaf. Apparently they can only watch telly very late at night.
That is the only time it has that little person in the corner interpretting the show!
