i don't know it's equivalent in Spanish or Italian but it's a romance movie where everything turns out great and totally revolves around the relationship between the girl and guy main character. most girls like that sort of movie, that's why it's called a "chick flick" chick=girl(chica, muchacha, etc) and flick=movie (cine) i really hope this helps

Great thing my friend from Mexico here. She says:
hola! "chick flick" en español quiere decir una pelicula que tiene la caracteristicas de ser atraida para las muchachas, generalmente peliculas que no atraien a muchachos, niños, etc. Un ejemplo podria ser "Legalmente Rubia", o "Pretty Woman" con Julia Roberts. "chick" quiere decir "muchacha" en ingles.
