Believe it or not, the same thing happened to me! Let me say, it would definately take the better person to act mature, and let him know you're happy for him, however, there is a good chance that if he got engaged while still dating you, the marriage isn't going to last, stick it through, and when it all falls apart, be there to pick up the pieces. Afterall, thats what friends are for.
