I am stumped! I am talking about when you open a command window, then type FTP. The regular DOS commands don't work and the rmdir command from FTP keeps returning directory isn't empty.

Thanks.

The command is indeed rmdir. You just need to delete everything from the directory before attempting to delete the directory itself.

It is in fact rmdir. However you must delete everything in the directory before you can remove the directory itself. Hence the error message you are getting.

The ftp command in dos, is not dos.

There are similar commands, but that's just cause ms copied general shell commands from unix.

all ftp shells also have a command "help" which help you learn all the commands.

rmdir & dele do the job.

Darling Occulty has the products on the rodent, darling... Yammie's getting somewhat senile and is making loopy statements. Any day now, we are going to locate him exterior donning a bathrobe and yelling at teenagers to get off the backyard. (((VK))) (((Occulty)))
