Does Bush fighting in Iraq because of the oil -- what? This isn't a complete thought.
Neither is Bush fighting in Iraq. But it has nothing to do with oil. repeat, NOTHING TO DO WITH OIL. That's a scam the oil companies have foisted on the American publics. Think about where our oil comes from. Mexico has oil. USA has oil, Canada has oil. There is offshore oil along both coasts. Iraq's oil is a drop in the bucket and wouldn't be missed if the tap were permanently turned off. So don't buy any razzle dazzle about oil, because that's not what this fight is about. And Bush isn't telling the truth about a lot of things, as became abundantly clear in the documentaries and investigative reports on the 9/11 tragedy.

The worst thing that ever happened to the middle east is the geological accident that it happens to be sitting on a huge pool of oil. That oil has allowed them to completely skip the developments of the 20th century. They are backward countries, run by backward and often brutally repressive governments. Only the continued flow of oil revenue allows these governments to stay in power.
So, yes, we are in Iraq partly because of the oil, and the need for the world to have a steady supply. We are also there because we can no longer ignore the threats of Islamo-fascists. Its better to fight them there than in Manhattan, don't you think?

Yes, but not to get oil, to ensure the U.S. dollar stays as the Currency That The Worlds Oil Is Traded In.
Otherwise, The U.S. Economy Would Be In Ruins.

Well, first of all Bush doesn't fight. He sends our military. I think they are fighting in Iraq so when things really heat up in Iran, we'll have a base to work from. Just a guess though.

Give me a break. If all he wanted was oil, he could have made a deal with Saddam to buy the oil. They were selling it under the UN’s oil for palaces program anyway

That is one reason why Bush have troops in Iraq. Second reason, he is trying to finish his father's mess.
