Give me as many details as possible.

"Sheer Cover" makes my skin feel like it can breathe too. It feels nice, and application is in no time.
Just looking at exploring other options

clinique workout makeup-love it! it's liquid.

Powder is good if you like a very sheer light coverage. Not good if you have many flaws.

Cream is heavy - good if you have many freckles or imperfections-great coverage but can feel cakey.

Liquid can range anywhere between thick and creamy to sheer depending on the mfg.

Your best bet is to go to a nice dept store and have a sales rep try some different coverages on you. SHe will tell you what works best for you. Drug store makeup is expensive these days-only a few dollars less than dept store makeup. It is better to go to the dept store where you can test colors out and actually make refunds if you don't like the purchase. Playing any many miny moe at the drugstore will get you a drawer full of makeup you don't use.

I've just been turned onto the world of Bare Escentuals, and gave Clinique liquid foundation the boot without lookin' back.

I like the powder infinitely better than the liquid; it's a more sheer cover and never looks cakey (there's nothing more horrid than a cake-face :P) Also, it feels like my skin can breathe more with the powder cover.

Despite its lightweight feel, it's also remarkably good at staying on.

I use Mary Kay foundation, although if you chose to use it, you'd have to find someone who sells it. Mary Kay can get kind of pricey too.
Anyway, I really like it because mine's made specially for oily skin. It's oil-free and doesn't clog my pores, and it doesn't look all oily or cakey like some other foundations do. It's a liquid foundation, and after I use it I dust a loose powder over it to make it look more natural.

Hope that helps!

I prefer to use liquid - it's sheer and easier to control how much you use.

My preferred brands are Prescriptives, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, Stila, and YSL.

I prefer not to wear make up but when my skin gets temperamental and needs a little cloak to hide behind, I tend to use whatever is in my make-up bag without giving a rats bottom as to wether it's suitably designer or not...

Mary Kay cream-to-powder.
It feels light, but it covers the scar I have on my face very well.
It doesn't even look or feel like you have foundation on, it looks natural.
