I live in Colorado, and have friends who went to Columbine. (before the incident). Both situations are equally disgusting and sad. Its hard to say which one is worse. 9/11 deals with terrorism agsinst our country, and that is scary, because alot of the world hates us. Columbine deals with teenagers who are so far gone, they think they need to fight back in such an awful way. I have a son going into high school next year. I am scared for him. His middle school was shut down for 2 days last year because some kid put a "kill list" on the bathroom wall. Imagine how I and all the parents in that school felt. They all say "here goes Columbine again" Turns out, one of the names on the list was the kid who did it. He was constantly bullied by these other kids, and did it as a way to cry out for attention. I do not agree with what those 2 boys did, but I think we need to take a long hard look at bullies. They are part of the reason the whole thing happened. I thing the boys were angry anyway, but the bully situation made it worse. As far as 9/11, the terrorists were set out to do what they did, and who knows if we ever could have stopped that from happening. BOTH were sad and depressing situations in American history. And lets not forget the Oklahoma City bombing or Waco. Other awful days in American history which should not be forgotten. Peace be with all the families of each and every tragic situation that happens in this world...not just America!!

Definately Sept. 11th was worse. Columbine was tragic, but 9-11 was devastating.

Both are equally bad - but as far as loss of human life, it would definitely be 9/11.

9/11 was far worse.
9/11 was an attack on our very own country by terrorists who despise everything we stand for.
