I can't recall downloading it, and when I click on the application it offers to uninstall it. However, I don't know if it will cause problems for my computer. Additionally, there are two text files called lxbu and lxbuscan in the C: drive, which I think may have something to do with the application. There is also another text file with information about when this application was supposedly installed, being more or less the day I got the computer.
I'm wondering if anyone knows what this application is, and if it's safe to remove it. Any help is appreciated!!

Unwise is the uninstaller for the Wise installer. It's nothing to be concerned about. The other files appear to have something to do with LG software. Do you have an LG cell phone that you use with your computer?

It's just a software that is included with Windows Wise Installer package. It's ment for uninstalling software that used the Wise Installer system. It's not spyware nor a virus so you should live it alone. Running it will remove the uninstaller but in this case you won't be able to uninstall some software from your computer!
As for the txt files i don't know what to say. If they are txt just open them and see what they contain...

download spybot seek and destroy. That should find all files that are causing any problems on your computer.
I remember that file.. I dont have it anymore.. I dont think its deadly. Its just a dumb file..
