I need to make a book-type thing using Microsoft Word. I need it to type two columns, and I need it to type with the sheet turned horizontally. Is there a way I can do that? Or is there a way to do that with Open Office?

Go to page setup on the file menu and set your orientation to landscape. Then you can add columns.

To type on the page sideways, go to File -> Print -> Properties and under Paper Setup change the orientation to landscape. Then okay, and close the print box. Then go Format -> Columns and choose two rows. Then type your info.

Do your page setup in Landscape mode.
