Anyone know of how to make a div (I guess it's a div) draggable like on google maps? Don't need to make the content update on the fly as the div is populated but I'd like to be able to move the content around inside a div.

Or can anyone point me in the direction for it?

Guess I need to clarify.

I'm not looking for how to use google maps, just wondering how they do a pan in a window type thing. Are they using a clip css style? Does the user really drag objects, not a layer?

I am not sure what you mean (on Google Maps, when you drag a map, it updates; previously invisible areas become visible), but the documentation for Google Maps is here:

that's not ajax, it's just a picture displayed in back of a frame(not html frame, just a div) border, then the catch the mousdown and track it by repositioning the absolute location of pic!

ajax is when you scroll too far, and they need a new map.
