Glue traps work very well with a dab of peanut butter in the center.

Go to WalMart and buy some VICTOR brand mouse traps, and some wheat bread. Sqeeze off a pinch of bread and ball it up real tight to about the size of a marble then put in in the trap, pushing it in the bait plate real good, and set the trap. Put the traps around the trash can, stove, fridge, and in the bathroom around the toilet. This always seems to work for me, you will be surprised at how fast mice react to wheat bread, like it was crack cocaine.

if the mice were there when you rented the apartment your landlord is responsible for ridding the place of the mice.if they have only come since you were there then i assume you have kept all food locked away so no mice will be attracted to your apartment . you can also go to your local council and ask for some mice killer granuals for free.

The old type traps are the only way. Forget the humane way and just trap and kill them. Big Lots, Lowe's etc. still have them and they are sold in packs of three to four. Set with cheese or bologna. I can't stand to take them out and usually throw the whole trap away.

that is the responsibility of your landlord. Call him.
In the meantime, buy a mouse trap. They cost $1.00.
