Oh heck yeah. In one epi there was a girl who got professional 'model' pics of her scantily-clad self taken and then shown on slides at her party. Vain, or what?! In that same epi, "Daddy's little angel" was such a friggin' diva - she made her main guests take dancing lessons and got stroppy when they couldn't keep up with the steps. In another epi, this dude spent $200,000 on his daughter's party. Argh, ok, it may only be around £120,000 in sterling, but still, wtf?! One of the guests were speculating how her wedding would be, if her 16th was so spectacular. My answer is that it would be no frills seeing as Daddy spent the family's nest egg on one frigging party.

And the thing is, most of these guys and gals think it's their divine given right to have that sort of a do. Jeez, when I turned 16, I was working in the kitchens of my folks' takeaway, when my friends turned up on their way home from our high school's achievement evening. Ok, that made me sound jealous, but I assure you I'm not. I'm just pointing out that a huge party is unnecessary.

And another thing, they think that their parents throwing the party shows how much they love them. Wtf?! That is definitely spoilt brat behaviour. Money is a material thing; things are just things, whereas love is immaterial, unconditional and abstract.

Also, that sort of spending is sooo immoral. I mean, there are about 6.5 billion people out there, some of them who don't know where their next meal will come from, if they get anything, and then there's people like those weirdoes who spend inordinate amounts of money for a 'sweet sixteen'. What is wrong with this picture? If they can spend that much, then they should donate it to charity in order to help someone less fortunate than themselves. You don't see people like Paris Hilton doing charity work, and that is so sad, 'cos they are seen as role models and they could do so much for other people.

The one i watched was so pathetic! she cried and tantrumed the whole time crying to her daddy! her mum actually got quite fed up with her!

Her dad spent so much money it was unbelievable! she then cried when people who weren't invited turned up for wrecking her party! stupid cow!

They need to be taken out.... With a gun!!!!! The little girl who kept calling her grandparents "peeps" really drove me insane. She screamed at everyone to get her exactly what she wanted and then complained that it wasn't very good. I could quite happily have served a life sentence for silencing her!

Some of them do make me want to slap them up. They need a serious reality check! Its the parents that have gone wrong though.
