White people can't be exotic because there is nothing striking, beautiful or unusual about you. You all have the same pasty skin and stringy hair and you all look alike so there is nothing stand out about you. Sorry but that's just the way it is!

Exoticness can really be looked at differently by different people and different community's. As such you are seeing by the responses to your question. My personal experience and way of describing an exotic person is some one with an uncommon look from those around me and in my area. A good example is I am currently in a predominantly white community, A pretty Mexican woman with a carmel complexion is though of as exotic there. I work in a very diverse community that same woman is though of as common where as a pretty white women is though of as exotic and very desirable. I hope this helps.

Because white people are everywhere in America, they all look the same basically unless they are mixed. Most of the people that are called exotic are usually mixed races. I am called exotic looking and I look like a combination of different races. Exotic is different and here in American white people are the same old thing you see everyday on TV and the street.

Let me just ask, is being exotic really about what you look like...meaning what your skin color is.

Because I think it's about more. Why would you want to be exotic? If someone wants to get to know you and trust you, or what have you, it shouldn't be because they find you "exotic". It should be because they are attracted to what's inside.

Exotic is a word that scholars have yet to properly define. But for those trying they find it as having distinct traits and untapped culture, for African Americans per ce...the culture is so rich and can't be reproduced, so people of another race may find it exotic and interesting because it can't be reproduced.

I think it borders more on opinion than it does on how one looks.

Hope this sets your mind at ease.

What do you mean by exotic? Different, foreign looking, out of the ordinary? I ask because some people think exotic means pretty. Some W people are pretty but not exotic by my definition.

White people is exotic where they are a rarity such as in China or Micronesia. In China, everybody turns to look at you (not so much in the cities) because they are amazed at your aspect. In many small mexican villages, a gringo going into town is the main attraction. Exotic is only relative to what you consider "normal" and what is strange.

the definition of exotic is basically someone that is Intriguingly unusual or different; excitingly strange, foreign. This being said people with white skin are exotic to people in lands were white people are not the prominent race or where they are rarely seen.

Mediterranean people are considered to be. So are Arabs, which are considered Caucasians. I guarantee, if a white goes to China, Africa, Latin America, or India, THEY will be the exotic ones to the natives.
