there's nothing in my lease agreement that refers to that

one would think so. but it's not that expensive to go out and buy some mouse poison. i use the kind that comes in sticks. yes, it's icky when you find the dead mice, but even if the landlord puts the poison down, you're still going to be the one to walk in on the icky part. life is icky!...lol

yes the landlord is responsible.. if you have mice, so does everyone in the building, and if the whole building is not treated, there is no way you can get rid of the ones you have. I really hope you are not infested!! good luck

Write your landlord's address on a piece of cheese and give it to the mouse.

If that didn't work, buy a rat motel and hope the critter likes vacationing.

If that didn't work, get a cat.

If that didn't work, call the city sanitation department or public health people and report your landlord's &^%*$ @**.

If that didn't work charge him $ X per month (to be promptly deducted from the monthly rent) for his PET rat's room and board.

If that didn't work, ............

i'm experiencing this now. I very own a 2 unit apartment living. the 2d floor tenant has occupied the unit for 13 years. the 1st floor tenant moved out and the 2d floor tenant moved into the 1st floor. the hot 2d floor tenants who moved in interior of days of the 2d floor tenant leaving, skilled malicious program bites interior of two weeks of shifting in. An exterminator got here across mattress bugs on the 2d floor and reported they have been there for a whilst. value for therapy of the two instruments is $2000. Can the unique 2d floor tenant be held in charge for any of the value??
