If he's still alive, he could be anywhere. I think he's back home in Saudi Arabia. The Bush / US administration would never dare attack their allies there. Lest we forget, Bush had a goodly number of the Bin-Ladens flown out of the US, granted safe passage, the day after 9/11.

It does not matter where Bin Laden is hiding; what matters is that Bush & Co. have a deeply vested interest in NEVER finding him. As long as the "#1 Terrorist in the World" is on the loose out there somewhere, the pro-war/anti-freedom cabal in the White House, Congress, and Pentagon can keep drumming out their "Danger Fear Danger Fear" message to the American public, thereby convincing the average citizen to sit tight and let "the people in the know and in charge": run things as they see fit. This is the reason, for example, that Americans haven't been screaming to the high heavens that the FBI checking public library records for individual's reading habits without a warrant is a privacy and personal liberty violation of the highest order; something the KGB or the GESTAPO would have done. Truly, a new low!

bush is probably hiding him. the bin laden family has so much money invested into Haliburton Oil *in texas* that the company would crumble finacially if the Bin Laden's took it out.
So, to protect the economy of the US he is either hiding him out, or sending his troops the opposite direction. This way the next president elected will have to deal with the fallout of the economy.

Bin Laden is dead. If he was still alive it would be him appearing on the video just released not his number two. I assume he was killed in the air strikes in the mountains of Afghanistan. While the US would have liked to show the dead body to the world I'm equally sure that for propaganda purposes Al Qaeda would like to show the live one. I can understand why the US can't produce their evidence but, why can't Al Qaeda produce theirs?

In a very secret location. I believe he can be located. If the U.S. Gov't were to hire me, I would give them a 99% Guarantee that I would find him within 60 days. If not, I would give 80% of their money back to them, leaving me with only $100,000.00 for my work. That's much less than most executives charge to run a corporation in the ground. Or, the U.S. Gov't could buy me a banana farm in Cuba.
