They're all safe, it's not the place you download from it's the files you download. If you have a decent firewall/anti virus software then this will warn you if a dodgy file is detected anyway so there is nothing to worry about. Its pure scaremonging by geeks hothink they know what they aretalking about but really don't. This site is full of them.
