Any1 else think FL is coming up quick?

Have you visited lately? Did you enjoy your stay?
What do you think of the area?

Has any one else noticed how expensive living is here now a days. A 3br 2bath house is now around 250,000.
Kind of high.

Florida is catching up to states like NY and Cal. I have been going down to west coast Florida since the 80's, and the area was beautiful but depressed. Housing values continued to stay flat through the 90's. Now the area is taking off, and houses that were 30 or 40 thousand are now close to 200 thousand. It may seem expensive if you just started looking in the area, but I think that it's wonderful for people who have been living in their homes for 20 or 30 years paying a mortgage, are finally making money on their investment. Real Estate is a waiting game, there's no getting around it.

Yes I agree. Prices are crazy. The area I live in just lots are starting at 50,000.00 and up. Its getting so expensive to live here. Forget even trying to buy a decent home. Its such a shame. I enjoy the weather and the beaches and this is home, sometimes I think about moving, but probably never will.

I sold my house in FL last year. I hated living there. A/C has to be run 10 months of the year, mosquitoes all year long, jobs pay doodly squat.

On top of that homeowner's insurance and property taxes are insanely high. I could no longer afford to live there.

FL is a nice place to visit.

I think that FL still has alot of upsite in some areas. For example Jacksonville.

Hahaha, it is the first ingredient i presumed after I said the commercial. iPods/mp3 gamers are banned in maximum colleges in my area in any case, and scholars might want to surely no longer be allowed to play their song in college! (and actually, even as else do you employ your binder? At homestead even as doing homework, you've your laptop or stereo!)
