Fish oil has Omega-3's. This is a lipid that is present in tissues most commonly found in the heart and brain. I used to take Omega-3 pills because i watched a science channel claim that they had an experiment with kids with a lot of omega-3 took them from a D average to a high B low A average in school. it is incredible. Salmon is the fish that has a more abundant amount of omega-3's as compared to other fish.

It is supposed to be good for your heart. I think cod liver oil is about the same. It has omega 1 or something like that in the fish oil, which is good for your heart. Cod liver oil has Vit. A, which is good too for your skin and hair.

If the fish oil is pure enough, you may experience easier bowel movements, and may feel better. If it is not pure enough, it might bring on symptoms like gouty arthritis.
