Assuming it isn't always the same person who interrupts you (in which case it might be that this person wants to avoid discussing a certain subject with you), the likelihood is that the subject is not one discussed publicly, and it makes people uncomfortable to have you bring it up. For example, if you are talking about being born again with non-Christians, or sex with people who are not into discussing it with near-strangers, they may interrupt you to stop the conversation from happening.
