I'm not a girly girl and I'm not a tomboy. I'm in between but my least favorite auant is always getting on my case. She's always complaining about me...."u need to dress up more, be like ur sisters and not ur brothers", and she's always ingoring me and always says this" (smacks lips)..ann, quick being lazy!........... OMG....I am not lazy! I depise lazy pll...i have no respect for lazy people, im the one who cleans and cleans and cleans all day. She's also always saying that I need to be girly...oops, I'm not on the subject am i? Well...i just don't like purses, i only like messager bags. She's always getting on my nerves...first she says ann..this and that. Then she ingores me. No wonder she's my least favorite auant. So...who thinks its ok 4 me girls to not wear purses? Even when we grow up and beign a mom and stuff....we don't have to carry a purse right????

of course not that's okay if you dont like purses. who knows maybe you'll change?! Just tell your aunt in a polite and lady like way you want to be yourself and are not into all those girly girl things. <3.

Purses are a pain. I've been trying to get used to one without much success, but who wants to carry a bag around with you all day? Purses got fashionable when women didn't wear pants and didn't have pockets. Everybody seems to have a relative like that aunt. Don't let her get you down.

It is perfectly fine to not like or carry a purse. In fact, you may find as time goes by,you may suffer less back and shoulder problems from traveling light than the rest of us who carry around everything we need for survival in those oversize shoulder bags. Another advantage is you will not be a tempting target for purse snatchers and muggers. Tell you aunt that you appreciate her concern but that you are your own person and you like who you are. Obviously she doesn't like who she is and that's why she is so critical of you.

It's cool to not like purses, or handbags, cuz some people, like yourself may not like to carry alot & can handle a wristlet or messenger bag...me, personally, I have some sorta purse fetish, I just love purses!...but a lot of my friends don't even carry purses. It just depends on the person. Just tell your aunt that it's just not you at all, & you don't feel comfortable in having one, I'm sure she'll stop getting on your case about it, if not, she's just a horrible aunt for trying to change who you are...it's your decision, also let her know that!

No female has to carry a purse. Use what you want to haul your things around. I didn't use a purse until I was 21 or so. As for your aunt, just let her know that you have your own style.

Wearing a purse is totally up tp you. With the latest fashion they have purses that do not look like a purse. Purses are just a little security for you not losing your things. So just go with your style.

yeah i hate purses too. There is no need to carry one around if you dont like to. You could just get a girly messenger bag to make your aunt happy

I have days where I can't live without my Dior saddlebag. (love the attention, *sigh* I'm such a slave to fashion).
But I also have days where I can't be bothered. I use a nice black leather Juicy Couture wallet. The leather is SO soft and supple, the card organizer is wide and spacious, plus the front has a bit of glitz and glam. You would think its expensive, but it only cost $80, which is CHEAP compared to handbags,purses, hobos, gauchos etc..
Do what feels right for you. Some messenger bags are very cute and stylish.

It is ok it is nothing bad about it like when you grow up you are going to have a purse just don't get used to it now.

Right! I dont like purses either to me they get in the way and whats the point of carrying a purse if you dont have to carry anything except for a few bucks and an ID... its alright if you dont like purses, everyone's different. tell your mom to tell your aunt to leave you alone if shes bothering you so much, or just ignore her
