Get a goal accomplished and done. Like for writing, it's to get published for poetry and fiction, as in copy or money pay than no pay and online. For nonfiction, to get paid for my hard work and research (and interviews) for my article in print and sometimes online, to get my freelance career started. For novels, to get one novel done perfectly without any inconsistencies, errors and tightened, without writer's block, and within the word count of 80,000 to 90,000 words. Then to get it accepted by an agent and publisher to have it published next year and perhaps reviewed in NY Times and in their Book Review Best Sellers List. God motivates me too. I'm not greedy. I just want to get it done . . . period.

my daughter and my nephew are the biggest motivators in my life....
and an ex of mine...when i get down i think of him and how he always tried to give me good advice on the situation and he always reminded me that tomorrow will come.

it depands on the situation... but mostly high personal achievements - a good job, a better project, making my name heared in the company in a positive way - motivate me.
