My husband brings home 3500$ a month and I bring home 1000$. There should be no reason to go through this but we do.

I saw this same problem with a client I was tutoring financially... She saw no end to a credit card bill but after talking with her, doing homework, in 3 months she had it paid off. Well that didnt last long... she was so proud of paying it off she went out and treated herself to a new car! BIG NO NO when you want to get ahead! Some people I can not help... some people claim to want help but will not make the changes you set in front of them.

You need to make an itemized list of your spending and be honest about it. ONLY then will you see the waste you doing. Money grows all by itself if you feed it. Far to many people think making more money will solve everything when really more money will just prolong the inevitable if not educated on how to handle the money ! You need to make changes... Start paying yourself first, meaning each month put away a certain agreed upon amount into an investment and DO NOT TOUCH IT. Then at the end of the month when money is short you will have to get off the couch and work harder to get food and pay the bills. Paying yourself first will lead you to one heck of a nice retirement. Best wishes on making some changes : )

Your not cursed! Look around who was involved in all your financial problems? Who makes the decisions on where and what to spend your money? If it is not you then someone else will decide for you. Get control..find ways to create additional income.

It's not that you are cursed, it's that you BELIEVE you are !!
Everything that happens in our life is because we think it.
Think good things and good will happen , think bad and there you have it. See yourself out of debt and think yourself wealthy. Imagine yourself the way you want to be. If you ever have a negative or bad thought, correct yourself and tell yourself to think only positive thoughts.
I hope this helps. Peace and Love to you.

Pay yourself first. Squirrel away 10% of your gross income and your husbands and learn to live on the balance. Yes, of course, it hurts at first, but after a year you'll have $5400.
