I think that all major things that happen to us will always seem like it happened recently, because of the horror of that day and how we remain in a place of war that reminds us daily of what started all of this. 5 years has gone by quickly...I have a 5 year old daughter that was born in June of 2001 and so she was around when this tragic day happened I am just glad she was not able to acknowledge the feelings we all had on that day..I just hope that people don't forget this day, it is our patriotic duty to be the ones to continue to hold remembrances of this day. thanks

Yeah it's really crazy that it's been 5 years already. When I was watching Path to 9|11 last night that's all I was thinking was "Geez... has it really been 5 years?" Like you said, it seems like it's been 2 months... especially since I remember every little detail of where I was, what I was doing, etc., at the time when I found out what was going on.

It does seem like time is going by faster since that has happened. Does anyone realize tho what Sept. 10, 2001 was to America? It was the last normal day for America.

i know, five years. i was teary eyed the entire morning, and i normaly handle things like these (aniversaries of tragedies) pretty well. but this year in particular it's getting me really down. i guess you never really get over things of that magnitude.
the plains are flying all over the place for the last few days, the news, and the memories.
but life goes on.
