Those little creatures that all run and throw themsleves into the water once a year and die. Lemings, maybe. Not sure. That is very strange indeed. Mass suicide. Must be a cult, lol.

though it is an insect i find the dragon strangest. because it has the most poisonous venom known to man yet has no teeth.

The platypus, easily. It's a mammal with a beaver's tail and duck's bill, that lays eggs. Can't get any weirder than that.
