Anti-liberals: How does promoting world peace mean attempting to distroy the US?

Liberals promote spreading world peace and health thru science and education instead of war. They also promote open mindedness.

How do these qualities translate into "distroy the US" I keep seeing the anti-liberal claiming liberal are trying to do?

It is not the "world peace" part that concerns folks like me. It is the form of government that the libs seem to hold as idyllic.

A form of world government that is similar to what the US was intended to have would be great. This would consist of the individual states having most of the power and responsibility for running their governments and a weak federal body whose only purpose is the regulation of interstate commerce and to provide for a common defense.

Unfortunately, the libs seem to want a form of global socialism with some sort of big brotherish authoritarian world governing body to subjugate the sovereignty of our as well as all other nations to promote their vision of a Utopian ideal.

Consider that even with the system of checks and balances in the US, the authority of our federal government continues to grow. Even if such a world body started out to be benevolent and innocuous, what's to keep it from becoming malevolent in the future?

The word is "destroy" in your question.
I think you made up a term: "anti-liberal." It is not in the Yahoo dictionary.
Look at your second sentence. Who promotes world peace and health through war?
I disagree with the third sentence. Liberals promote big government and higher taxes. You have no evidence to support your claim of open-mindedness. If liberals promote anything it is their own point of view.
You mis-spelled "destroy" twice. Then, you forgot some punctuation in your last question.
Liberals may not be consciously trying to destroy the US. But, when they do everything they can to undermine the current Administration, they certainly are dividing the country.
If you cannot communicate in plain English, don't expect anyone to take you seriously.

If promoting world peace is your goal, then you wouldnt be the type of liberal most of us conservatives target. Of course world peace is a noble cause and everyone would like to see that. It has never happened in the course of recorded history but still a worthy and noble cause.

My beef is not with the average Democrat but rather the left winger that constantly posts anti American sentiment. I think I share my opinion with "most" conservatives. We target the Cindy Sheehan, Jane Fonda, Barbara Streisand, Michael Moore liberals. These people have a mutated self serving perception of liberalism and democracy.

Just my opinion, but Im not always right.

Everybody wants world peace not just liberals. The fact is that these world peace advocates are ignorate to the real world. These days you have to fight to have peace and freedom. The liberals spreading world peace don't understand that if you go to al qaeda and promote your peace and health thru science and education they will throw a bomb at you.

Republicans are for Big Business and are getting desperate.
they use religion, scare tactics anything to keep control.
The super Rich did that in Mexico and now the poor are so poor they can't afford to rent the cheepest place and can't afford to eat. It is rapidly coming here. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer and the people cry the Republicans are Christians as they forment war and send the poor expendable boys to a war.
rich kids don't go to war. There only defense? Tell people liberals are bad. All gay! Where they are not. They are trying to take away religion, they are not. Put prayer back in school.
Let the government tell us how to worship, when to pray, and what to say in our prayers. How is that different from Iraq?

Because, to liberals, "promoting world peace" means not letting the U.S. defend itself. They are completely ignorant of the human condition and the dangers of the world. Singing Kumbiya and giving people hugs is not the path to peace. Historically, lasting peace comes through military strength & victory.

a lot of liberals are attempting to promote peace the wrong way , by obvious lies , by slander of their own leaders , i would get your point if they would first realize who the enemy is . i always hear why are they in iraq spending money when they could be here fixing our problems , yet they turnaround and spread hatred within their own country not only towards their people but their leaders , peace would be great but has to start here , if we can't get along how the hell do you expect world peace

Because many liberals do not believe in defending themselves or our country. Too many people today are the "peace at any cost" types. And peace at any cost, is no peace at all. Sure peace is a great thing to strive for, but liberty is far more important.

Promoting peace is a good thing. Letting your guard down so some wanker country can enter ours and destroy lives and property is not. We have to fight the extremists on their soil, not ours.
