I have a friend who works part time mon-friday, 2-6, everyother weekend, 10-7am, and every wed. cleaning a office. her husband is self employed. his business is very slow. i think she is working too much (they also have 2 kids) and that he should get a second job...she keeps sticking up for him!! what is your opinions?

He may have been the one pulling the weight somewhere back in time.. but I do think he should be helping with the kids aND the cooking. And it should only hit a dead time in his business short term.. if its been months.. Yep get a 2nd job.

If he is taking care of the kids, and they are happy, what business is it of yours. If the roles were reversed I'm sure you'd have no problems right. Hell, I'd love it if my wife would get a job and I could stay home.

As much as u would like to help your friend, this issue is really between her and her husband and it's none of your business. Of course she would stick up for him. That is HER husband.

I think she's doing great! For a woman to step up to the plate and work hard to tie the loose ends I commend her.

If you cannot help her with a job with fewer hours and more money stay the hell out of her marriage and business.

maybe if she is happy about it then let her be...let her stand by her man for better or worse for rich or poor!
