how do you determine the relative mass between two objects? i have the mass of a popcorn kernal (.121g) and the mass of a marble (4.2g). how do i determine the relative mass between these two objects?

divide the larger mass by the smaller and express it in terms of the smaller.

4.2 / .121 = 34.7; therefore, the marble is 34.7 times the mass of the popcorn kernel.
