i dont know where to paste the songs once i have copied it

download itunes. Make itunes your default media player. Play the songs you copied and when itunes opens it to play it the song will be added to the itunes library. Connect you ipod to your computer and update you ipod. that will put your songs on the ipod.

When you are in Itunes you label your songs and catergorize them. Then when you transfer your songs they will also appear in these caztegories. Check out the help section of you iTunes for mor info on transferign songs/playlists.
