It's golden and looks like a big skeleton key. I pick it up and carry it with me.

It looks like the key that went to my grandfather's workshop behind the old car lot, the key that I lost years ago, then found in the back pocket of a pair of jeans the day before his funeral. I remember thinking "Thank you Pa Pa, for the sign that you're stil around" That's where I went every morning to get out the inventory sheets, cleaner for the bathrooms and sales stickers. I worked for my grandfather for three years, and he was the best friend I've ever had.

I put the key in my Hope Chest, knowing that he has once again told me that he loves me.

I see the sunlight shine down onto something shiny. A key! Some one must've dropped it. It's a long brass key with exquisite designs. I keep it with me maybe I can find the old house it belongs to.

It is an old-fashioned key, a skeleton key I think its called. It's made of brass. It unlocks the old attic where interesting things from bygone times are stored.

My road is open, there is only the paved road and desert land on each side, but there are no plants, just dirt.
The key is antique and I open a door, but I do no't know what is behind the door.

The key is made of copper. It's small and dirty, but usable. It might be useful, so I pick it up and put it in my pocket.

It's alone, on no key chain. It's silver... I place it on the counter, not giving much thought as to what it goes to.
