Windex and paper towels

Well, if it's an LCD then don't clean it with windex and a paper towel. You'll end up scratching the heck out of it. That's what my roomate did with his Mac. Instead go to an office supply or computer place like Office Depot.

There I bought an LCD screen cleaning kit, which includes a moist cleaning cloth, a lint-free polishing cloth, and a shimmey. I used that on my laptop and the screen looks brand new and there is no scratch what so every.

Dont spray the windex on the screen. It might run down and go inside of it. Spray the windex on the cloth or rag your using, and then wipe the screen with it.

if you use windex on an LCD screen even a tiny bit you are a MORON. lcd's will yellow if you use amonia on them, what does windex have in it? AMONIA! go to your local comp shop and get screen cleaner... they are usually alchohol based and will not damage your screen.
