I applied and I had my first interview today. I think it went well, and he said he would call me, so when do you think that will be? also they said first interview. does that mean I could have a second one? They are just starting this super target so they need a lot of people. Thanks for answering!

It is Target's policy to interview everybody, regardless if they passed the application quiz and are eligible for hiring. Typically they interview you as soon as you are done with the in store application. This prevents them from having to call back applicants, and saves scheduling time. Interviewing absolutely everybody also saves them from discrimination suits.

Keep looking for a job, and don't stop until you have a job offer you are willing to take. If you do not hear from this target within a week, do not expect to.

They may call you back for a second interview, but that is unlikely.

You will have to interview with a Team Lead (dept. supervisor). They obviously think you have some intelligence, cause if they just wanted you to cashier one interview would do it. Or if you want to work overnight doing replenishment, you have to meet with that team lead. They get back to you pretty quick, especially this time of year.

It's a great place to work. Great benefits and advancement opportunities. I've worked for Target 6 yrs. Good Luck!!

Yes - sometimes you are required to have a second interview - and then sometimes a third interview - elimination process - be thankful you passed the initial stage!@

They should give you a second one, and then a drug test, then your hired. Why on earth would you want to work there, I use to, it is a good stepping Stone for experience while you go to school, but don't stay that long, it is a worthless job past the age of 25.

If you really want this job - don't wait for them to call you. Call them tomorrow, then the next day until they give you an answer.

But keep appying else where in the mean time in case it doesn't work out. Good luck.

In 1.5-3 weeks. And yes, if they like a lot of future employees, you might have to go through another, harder, interview.
