Try taking some dramamine. It is typically for motion sickness, but that is very similar to the same thing you feel from working with computers. However, for dramamine it is recommended that you take it before you need it, and it might not be a good idea to take one every day before you go to work. Try taking a 5 minute break or so every hour. Just take your eyes off the screen and look at stuff in the distance. This will allow your eyes some time to adjust and calm down from staring at a screen for so long. Good luck, hopefully you don't strain your eyes too much!

Move the monitor to the furthest point you can clearly read the screen without straining your eyes, that is easier on your eyes then having the monitor close up.
The best thing is to get up and walk away for a few minutes. This will allow your eyes to refocus and will also help with back and leg pains if you suffer from those.

Move your eyes away from the monitor and look at something in distance to relieve the eye muscle or close your eyes for a couple of minutes. Also, check to see if the monitor flickers a lot. If it does, change it to a new monitor. In addition, adjust the height of your chair so that your head is slightly look down on the monitor in stead of looking up. It is your right to have a safe working environment.

Move your monitor farther back or closer to your eyes, when working on the computer look away into the distances about every 20 minutes (or when your eyes start to hurt). This allows them to refocus so they don't become sore. Another option is to buy an LCD monitor (no glare, much easier to read text, less eye strain) or increase the refresh rate of your monitor.

Hello;
Well, I would recommend trying to take shorts breaks once in a while so that ur eyes don't get tired much and so they can relax a bit. But by all means, do try to get some sleep early at night or day if u prefer.
This happens to me alot, specially if I'm at the computer for much of the day. And what I always do is to try to take a small break or take a nap during the day.
I hope that I have answered ur question. But if u need further assistance, please email me to: mariopcgames@lycos.com
And please, do stop by my site at:

You can get a shield that goes over your screen to make it not so harsh. This one is an anti glare screen filter:

Also, have your eyes thoroughly checked because even if you think your vision isn't affected, there me be a strain on one or both of your eyes, which can cause headaches an nausea. My husband had this problem because his eyes started competing with eachother when under the strain of the computer, so he ended up with glasses.
Good luck!

I get off the computer and go to sleep. This normally only happens when I play the sims since I play for hours at a time.
