I made myself a plate of fries to eat because I had been up all night. I settled down to watch Judge Judy at 9am but unfortunately, there was footage of a building that was burning.
I was annoyed and kept changing the channel but it was all about this building that was burning. Damn. Who cares about a building that was on fire?
But then, I saw a plane flying closer and closer to the other tower and it was a big firey explosion. I was absolutely stunned. When I stuck to one channel, I learned quickly that the fire from the other building was also from a plane that had collided into it.
And it all unravelled from there.

I was on a preparation period at school. I walked past a classroom that had it televised. I got went in just as the second plane hit the second tower. I didn't believe it was real until parents started calling the school wanting to pick up their children early.

Waking up... getting ready for school. Horrible, unbelievable morning. My father-in-law worked for United at the time (computers) and had to be called into work to help look for the missing plane (he's always on call). Then we saw why he had to go in on the news and couldn't believe it.

I was in science class... we had block scheduling so we were taking a break halfway through, then the teacher came back in the room and told us all what was going on, and turned on the tv and what not. it was so crazy... i didn't have a clue why some airplanes just flew into the WTC.

In my seat at school in fourth grade. I had no clue what happened...teachers and people were just whispering & the announcements kept on saying something about kids going home. I didn't know what actually happened until a while after.

My mom called me to let me know about the news. Then my fiance called to let me know, too, so I turned on the news and watched until I had to go to work. Once I got to my office, we were evacuated & I returned home to watch the rest of the coverage on Fox News Channel (back when I was watching that channel).
