I find that my skin on my face has a tendency to be very dry, and it got at it's worst when I started doing the whole cleanse, tone, moisturise thing. Facial skin can be quite delicate, expecially where there should be hair, and cleaning too often might not agree with your skin type.

I've cleared my face completely by doing this:

- Moisturise every morning and leave completely dry before applying any make up.
- Use a sensitive, fragrance-free facial wipe to take any make-up/dirt off.
- Moisturise every night.

It's also handy to slather some Vaseline on affected areas before you go to bed. It works wonders.

Is it really necessary to wax your face? I've never heard of that unless someone has excessive facial hair. Apologies if you do! I'm not being unkind. Anyway firstly some toners are too harsh on the skin because they are alcohol based and when you wax also you are probably stripping your skin of essential oils. Apart from the obvious moisturisers I would think about drinking plenty of water. That will add moisture to your skin and you will notice the results in a few weeks. Will be worth the wait.

May sound odd.. but.. rub in a dab of Olive Oil and/or Patroleum Jelly. Everynight before bed... try this for about a week and you should see immediate results.

I wouldn't try Lavendar.. as lavendar, naturally.. has a drying affect on the skin. This is why it's so popular to use in most all natural deoderants... as it quickly evaporates perspiration.

Also.. lavendar can irritate sensitive skin as it is not a gentle substance... whether it be pure or otherwise.

Lavendar oil is used as a home-remedy for acne because it dries it out. I'm not too sure why the popular belief of lavender is that its moisturizing? Perhaps because it's in so many chemical infused moisturizers these days...

But it's not really lavendar, half the time. It's a "lavendar parfume". It's almost never made of the actual lavendar plant oils... "Lavendula Augustofolia".

Do becareful about putting on oil and other stuff to get moisture unto your skin. If your T-zone is already on the oily side you may have a breakout of acne! You need a moisturizer that actually locks in the moisture. Try some natural therapy skin care like aleovera or essential oil - Lavender is great for skin repair and cucumber a wonderous fruit(?) Vegetable(?)

Apply a toner to prevent loss of moisture from your skin – This step is often neglected by many, yet it is a very important step, especially if you have dry skin. Toning lotions, for example Wildcrafted’s ‘Milk of Roses Toner’ provides essential oils and herbal extract that help to close the opened pores and prevents loss of moisture.

Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise. – This cannot be stressed strongly enough. Moisturising will not only nourish your skin, but it will help to reduce loss of moisture even further, thus preventing dry skin, as well as repair damaged skin. Wildcrafted’s Papaya Day Crème, for example is a good illustration of using essential oils and herbal extracts to re-hydrate the depleted skin and nourish it to help protect is from loss of moisture.

Olay classic beauty fluid is the best moisturiser for all skin types. It sinks in really quickly and easily so it nourishes your skin from deeper layers of the dermis and it encourages your skin to produce its own natural oils. An hour after applying it you will see how your face will glow!! Its my HG face moisturiser.

The outer layer of your skin is dead skin, applying more moisturizer to your face will more likely end up with irritated skin then helping. The best way is to consume more water, hydrate yourself!

Take some vitamin e and make sure you drink eneough water, olive oil in your food helps, so on so forth. Good luck!

A good moisturiser is a must, but what about treating your skin from the inside- linseed (flax) oil and hemp oil work a treat when taken as a supplement

Firstly, don't use toner, it contains alcohol and dries the skin. also check the ingredients of your cleanser and make sure it doesn't contain alcohol either.

Use a decent moisturiser like vaseline or baby oil gel (sparingly) not one of these fashion types which look good but don't do a damn thing except take your hard earned money

Lavender cream.
It has a balancing effect on the skin and would also help if you have greasy skin!
Also it has renound healing qualities so will help with any damage caused by the waxing.
