If it's something you really love, she'll get over it. You're still going to be together in drama club! Maybe she was just having a bad day. Jut talk to her and tell her she hurt your feelings, that you really like writing but you still want to hang out. Don't make it a big dramatic deal though, it'll be fine!

Your "friend" needs to realize that everyone has different tastes and talents. What's right for her might not necessarily be right for you. We each have to pursue our own interests and find our own paths. Being friends doesn't mean you have to do everything alike. You aren't the Bobsie Twins! She sounds like she is pretty shallow, and I'll bet your writing talent last a lot longer than your friendship does. She'll probably change her tune in a few years when your novel turns up on the best seller list!

The beauty of having a best friend is that she can say what she likes to you and you to her. Get it off your chest you will both feel better tomorrow when your argument will be history. You started off your question calling her your best friend but end up 'good friend'. That's not fair. Most people are lucky to have a best friend and I can tell you, you really miss him/her when they are no longer around. Forgive her but continue with your writing. Get her into the act by asking her to proof read your work and to give you any suggestions that might improve it. Her suggestions may be totally against your judgment but what matter. Pretend that they are wonderful suggestions and you can leave them out in your final drafts of your writing. Keep her happy but whatever, always remain the best of friends............

Tell her that you aren't forcing her to go and that she should at the very least be more polite. Explain that you were hurt by what she said. Ask her if she would like it if you made fun of her interests or even tell her that you want practice because you hope to someday write a novel and become rich and famous or something

You are good at writing, I could not tell by your questions. Either way, it does not matter what your friend says about the clubs you join. You need to join them for you, and not for her. So keep living your life and do what you want to do.

Be the bigger person & politely tell her it's okay if not all of your interests are the same. She is probably just scared that you won't be with her at that time, especially if you guys buddy up for everything you do. If she is a real friend this will blow-over & hopefully she will apologize. Don't give up what you love for someone else, that is not friendship.

Maybe she has some problems and she spill it up on u...U gotta talk to her, ask her what's going on with her, why does she reacted like that...If she has any problems try to help her, if she doesn't and she made that excess just like that than u'll have to ditch her cause true friendship is not about sharing the same interests it's about respecting each others interests....

She might be feeling a bit of jealousy towards you because she can't do it. Just don't give up homie and do what you do best... write! I also love writing because I have lots of things to say and there are 3 of my friends who can't stand my letters because they're always so freakin long. But just keep your chin up and do what you do best, and be good at it even if you get judged by others. Keep in mind that they are no one to judge you okay sweetums!

She's probably just upset because you won't be hanging around with her as much. Explain to her that she doesn't have to like the writing thing, but you do. If she can't handle it, then maybe she's not such a good friend after all.
